Lupei is an active-duty Naval Officer with 19 years of leadership, logistics, contracting, and project management experience in the Defense industry. She has completed multiple deployments at sea and proudly served her country in Afghanistan during OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM.
Throughout her military career, Lupei is often the only woman in the room: a phenomenon which brings challenges, as well as opportunities. This unique experience inspired her to found “Sisterhood in Real Estate”, which serves as a vehicle to project her passion for women’s empowerment and real estate. Her vision is to build a platform to connect, inspire, and empower women through real estate investing while developing organic long-lasting friendships and partnerships.
Lupei’s love for real estate stemmed from its power to impact financial literacy and change a person’s financial trajectory in a short period of time. Her real estate ventures began with single family rentals and shifted to commercial multi-family investing shortly after for efficiency, scalability and greater profitability. She currently holds a $10M portfolio of residential and commercial real estate in five states.
Lupei possesses solid leadership, risk management, and analytics skills and is well-versed in managing large-scale projects. She is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps and Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Certified Contracting Officer. She leads two real estate meetups in the Capital Region (Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia).
